Perennial is proud to announce its partnership with One Tree Planted, an environmental non-profit organisation focused on global reforestation, to further our commitment to sustainability and extend ESG integration within our corporate strategy.
For every direct client of Perennial as at August 2021, including our investment boutique partners, Daintree Capital and eInvest*, a tree will be planted in Australia. Thousands of trees will be planted in bushfire affected regions across Australia, to facilitate land restoration and protect biodiversity.
Our partnership with One Tree Planted is one of several sustainability initiatives undertaken by Perennial. Recognised as a Responsible Investment Leader by the Responsible Investment Association Australia (RIAA) in 2021, we constantly strive to improve our corporate strategy in relation to sustainability. Since 2019, we have been an active supporter of Climate Action 100+, a collaborative investor-led engagement group that seeks to ensure the world’s largest corporate greenhouse gas emitters take critical action on climate change. A longstanding supporter of the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), we also encourage companies to report under the valuable framework.
