Earlier this year Perennial created and sent out a survey to 250 listed companies in Australia on ESG incorporation in their day to day business. There are many ESG funds currently available for Investors in Australia that have little to no engagement with the companies they invest in. Investment decisions are often achieved via a quantitative screen with use of external data providers.
The results were compiled into a report for you below. We were able to gather some meaningful insights across different industries.
